We are able to cater for gatherings of any size at The Plume from office parties of 8 up to weddings of 150 people. Our menus change every month, offering 3 alternative party menus and also offer 3 alternative canape and bowl food menus for 'Stand-Up' Gatherings - please see more details below. Although we are generally open Tuesday to Saturdays, we may open on Sundays and Mondays for suitable private gatherings - please do enquire.
For all gatherings of 8 or more we require a pre-order at least three days before. Our party menus are updated each month and can be found on the right of this page (or below on a smartphone). There is no need for each person to order individually, the head of the party simply needs to pick which one of the three menus the entire party would like, confirm how many people are in your party and let us know of any dietary requirements. We will provide your party with all the dishes listed on the chosen menu, plus a few extras if needed to satisfy the dietary requirements. The booking time is your arrival time and we aim to start serving the first dishes around 15 minutes later with the entire menu taking around an hour to an hour and a half to serve.
The menus are currently priced at £20pp, £25.50pp and £31.00pp with each menu progressively offering more dishes, more variety, more indulgence and more value for money - desserts are £6.50 extra for those that want one. On Friday evenings and all day on Saturdays, only the 2 most indulgent menus are available. A discretionary 10% service charge is added to all bills, which is entirely split between the team who looked after you on the day, on top of their wages. Please do ask if you would like the service charge to be removed for any reason. If you feel that the service you have received is not up to the level expected, please don't hesitate to let us know. We would also require an arrival drink to be chosen for any party of over 20 people.
Alternatively, if you don't want a sit down gathering, we can offer canapes and bowl food that can be consumed while standing and mingling. These menus are updated each month and can be found on the right of this page (or below on a smartphone).This is available for gatherings of 12 or more in different areas of the venue depending on the size of your party. The options available are priced at £15, £20 or £25 with each menu progressively offering more dishes, more variety, more indulgence and more value for money. A discretionary 10% service charge is added to all bills, which is entirely split between the team who looked after you on the day, on top of their wages. Please do ask if you would like the service charge to be removed for any reason. If you feel that the service you have received is not up to the level expected, please don't hesitate to let us know. These stand-up gatherings are always available Tuesday to Friday lunch, where appropriate, but at weekends only the 'Quattro' and 'Cinque' options are available in suitable situations. A dessert can be added for as little as £2 per person. We would also require an arrival drink to be chosen for any party of over 20 people.
Once again, at least three days before, the head of the party simply needs to pick which one of the three options you would like, what you would like for an arrival drink, confirm the number of people and let us know of any dietary requirements. We will provide your party with all the canapes and all the bowls listed, assuming each of your party will have most but not all of the bowls listed. We will also provide extra bowls, if needed, to satisfy the dietary requirements. The booking time is your arrival time and we aim to start serving the canapes around 15 minutes later with the entire menu taking around 45 minutes to an hour to serve.
We had our wedding lunch at the Plume. Nick and the whole team were brilliant throughout. They shared very useful advice at how best to use their venue and which of their dishes would work best as finger food. The whole process was seemless with great communication throughout. Importantly they really delivered on the day. The whole team were well prepped and had a smile on their faces. The tapas style food worked brilliantly and we've had loads of positive feedback from our guests. We also booked the beautiful rooms for guests from overseas which went down really well. Would highly recommend for an event the whole experience was high quality and we feel like we have had excellent value. The Piccolo menu is not available on Friday evening and at the weekend.
Each menu progressively offers more dishes, variety, indulgence & value for money.
The stand-up gatherings are only available in certain circumstances, generally they are not suitable on the busiest or more complicated services.
